Ross Taylor had, what many people would describe
as, a perfect life... a company director, a busy international
business career and a new home in Singapore where he lived with his
wife, Katherine and their two children.
Then in late 1993 Ross was diagnosed with an
aggressive secondary cancer in the form of a malignant melanoma
and his "fairy-tale" world came crashing down.
Despite a 10% survival chance (over 3 years) Ross
has not only healed his life, but has specialized in understanding
and learning the importance of stress management and nutrition in
maintaining a healthy and well-balanced life.
Today, seventeen years since Ross' original cancel
diagnosis and in addition to his business commitments,
Ross is an active international speaker on the subjects of stress in
the home and office, nutrition and living and preventing
degenerative diseases. Ross is also the founder and president of Lifeforce
Cancer Support Services, a company that was formed in 1996 to assist
people to improve their health.
His story has been featured widely in the
Australian and overseas media, including several appearances in the
ABC's "7.30 Report", in Malaysia's "Life" Magazine, and in
Indonesia's Newspaper "The Jakarta Post".
He is the author of several best selling books and
audio's, including "Living Simply With Cancer", which
features a Foreword by Olivia Newton-John and
"Creating Health...
Yourself", which has been acclaimed by many prominent people
including Australian cricketer Dennis Lillee. Ross is also the Past
President of The Cancer Support Association of Western Australia and
was a founding director and chairman of The Breast Cancer
Foundation Inc. He is currently a founding director of the
Melanoma Cancer Support Association of Western Australia
Inc., Chairman of the Edith Cowan University-Psychology &
Counseling Consultative Committee in Western Australia, and
Chairman of the Brady Cancer Support Foundation Inc. Described recently by a leading Channel Nine
personality as her choice as one of Australia's three most
inspirational people, Ross is committed to assisting people live a
better quality of life, naturally!
